Science Fiction / Fantasy Web Resources

Library Journal recently published an excellent article on the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres, including a list of best websites to keep you up-to-date on your favorite authors, share ideas with other fans, or discover something new.

  • Fantasy Book Critic - book reviews focused on fantasy, with a sprinkling of sci-fi and horror.
  • IO9 - pop culture, real science, and event listings.
  • Locus Online - book reviews and genre news.
  • SciFan - author bibliographies, series chronologies, new release announcements.
  • SF Signal - news, interviews, awards, podcasts and free online short stories
  • SF Site - reviews books and videos. Don't miss the 'best-of-the-year' lists posted each March.
  • SFF World - news, forums, interviews and a place for fans to post their own work.
  • TOR - contributions from major authors, and analysis of the genre's hallmark works.
