ReshapeOhio.org - Public Participation in Legislative Redistricting

Do you know what legislative district you live in?  Whether you do or don't, be prepared for a change. Every ten years, after the completion of the U.S. Census, legislative districts are redrawn to reflect changes in the population.

This year, for the first time, ReshapeOhio.org allows the public to learn about and contribute to the redistricting process.

Through ReshapeOhio.org, Ohioans can:
  • Gain a better understanding of the redistricting process.
  • Follow the proceedings of the state Apportionment Board and committees.
  • Read public testimony on the drawing of congressional districts.
  • Try their hand at redrawing state legislative and congressional district lines.
Using the latest technology, map-drawers will  have the opportunity to formally submit state legislative maps for consideration by the Ohio Apportionment Board.

To learn more, visit ReshapeOhio.org or read the Secretary of State's press release.
